DAISY
Today, 18th August 2010, Daisy passed over the Rainbow Bridge to fly free amongst the rainbows and clouds.  She had developed liver disease and there was nothing that we could do to stop this sad day from arriving. She was just 11 years old, still a baby really

We had her for a very short time, just 3 months, her previous family loved her so much they let her come and live with us because they felt their life had got to busy and Daisy was left on her own too much.  They loved her that much that they put aside their feelings and did the best for Daisy. Our hearts are broken after such a short period of time, we are thinking of Lynne, Alan and Dominic.  We are all richer for having our little girl in our lives.

Milly was a constant shadow of Daisy, mainly because when Daisy was finished eating toast etc she would drop it on the floor for Milly to hoover up

To know Daisy, was to know the true definition of fun, she was a tiny little bundle of white feathers with a massive attitude, she ruled us all and managed to let us know what she wanted and how she wanted it.  She shared my food, loved anything creamy, strawberries and cream with meringue was her favorite. She enjoyed going into the garden and "pruning" the bamboo.  She loved meeting new people and greeted everyone with "Helllllo" she politely would say bye bye, she was the perfect hostess sitting on knees and grooming visitors hands, looking for scabs!!.

She enjoyed going outside to the builders and spending time on their shoulders as they tried to build our new garage.  To meet Daisy was to fall in love with Daisy.  She knew "tricks" when she wanted something she would bob her little head up and down lift up her leg and say "thank you darlin'" she would say thank when given something, or she would say "please Darlin' Daisys" she did high five, I started to teach her shake hands which she had started to master wonderfully, we played ball throwing to and fro, she would dance and whistle a tune.  There is a massive chasm where Daisy use to live.

There will be no more "nite nite Daisys" when she was tired, no one to blow kisses to us, and no one to share my shower with me.

Nite Nite Daisys, we miss you my tiny little darlin' xxx
